Hey everyone,

For those of you in the bay area (yes, california)

have you heard of a test prep company called thinktank learning?

if so, how good are they? what credentials do their tutors have?

they have a location near my house, which is great and which means i don't necessarily
have to go to princeton review or kaplan.

btw this is for the SAT I.

bump! Help please!

their SAT 1 course is horrible, the only good thing is if you score 2200, you get your money back. If you score 2300 they pay you, and 2400, even more.

It’s not good for SAT prep. It’s pretty good for tutoring in individual subjects, however.

“if you score 2200, you get your money back”
What? Since when? And that makes no sense. That means that if their prep is good, they make no money, so they want people to score low.

since a while, my brother and i have both scored 2200 or higher and received our money back. Look them up online and you can see…

as for the latter half of your comment, thats called marketing strategy, obviously only a handful of people get 2200 or higher, so they have this deal to entice students. If you’re still young, you’ll learn. If you’re a junior or older, well, community college aint so bad…

Haha sorry that I offended you. I just thought it was a strange strategy because I know quite a few people who earned 2200+.
