@sandjunkie when did your son complete his application and send it in?

Interesting, I actually sent an e-mail to Baylor telling them if I don’t hear early enough, Baylor may not be in the running as my early action schools and early decision schools notifications come in Dec 15th. The CA admissions officer said they can make no guarantees on getting notified early

Had great essays [if you need help, let me know!]

You needed an essay for baylor?

I applied regular decision on September 9th and I still haven’t gotten a response.
I have a 3.68 UW GPA
All IB classes
31 ACT score
When do you think I will hear a response? Do I have a chance at getting in?

Was there an option to choose between regular decision and early action when submitting the app? I finished mine early September I think but I feel like I selected reg decision instead of early d. Also how important are the short essays?

@Class2020ru Why didn’t you apply early?

Baylor isn’t my first choice. I’m waiting for UT. I just want to get a result from Baylor so that I know that I’m in at a good college

@heylee1028, Baylor had options for early action, single choice early action, and regular decision. The dates on the website for notification are Dec 1 for SCEA, Jan 15 for EA, and April 10 for RD. However, it seems like they are definitely notifying some people early. My daughter applied regular decision in September, and had a decision in October.

My app says the decision will be available January 15th. I think I applied regular decision though.

My application (I did early action) said the decision would be available January 15 as well, but I got my decision back on December 1, so you’ll probably hear back before then.
