Is anyone else having a horrible experience with these people. IF they do email me back, it will be weeks later. They have still yet to let me know if I have gotten in for the Spring, and they said I would know in September. They told me in July that my application was complete, but a couple of weeks ago I emailed them asking when I would find out, and they said my application was incomplete. I resent the things they “didn’t have” although they should already have them, and still haven’t heard a thing. It is almost November, and still have no clue whether or not I am admitted.

They are driving me crazy, and I am considering attending another school based on these experiences. It may just be a sign that this isn’t the school for me.

So what I’m getting to is: Has anyone else had any experiences like this?

I agree; of all the colleges I’m applying to, Baylor’s office has been one of the worst to communicate with. However, I did have better luck when I found out who my specific counselor there was and emailed him directly. So I advise you to do likewise; you can check our counselor on your goBaylor account.

My daughter did not have any trouble, but it did take the website a while to catch up. She called several times on different things and they were fairly timely on their responses. She was able to see her acceptance on her GoBaylor account but we have not received anything by snailmail yet.

Well in my experience, the admissions staff was very helpful and
I haven’t had any trouble with timing or anything.
I applied sometime in October and received my acceptance letter
at the beginning of November, so they were actually pretty speedy with me.
I know that with a couple other universities I applied to, although the school records
show that I have everything in, the online file sometimes is slower, so maybe that was
just the case with you? Try calling them up like Odd Monkey said, I’m sure they’ll be more than happy to assist you! :)
