Baylor University Early Decision for Fall 2022 Admission

I know… haven’t heard or seen anything posted. I am surprised no one has started a separate forum for 2022 ED,EA.
Even to post an acceptance.
Maybe Baylor is waiting till October. Old post from last year seem to start October with some acceptances.
No word on scholarship programs either.
Waiting is hard!

thats great!!! Good luck to your son. We havent heard anything if any acceptances been sent out. Was hoping more people would start posting information as stats, acceptances, scholarshops etc.

Is anyone participating in Baylor Premiere this Saturday?

Yes, my son will also be virtually participating in Baylor Premiere this Saturday! We visited during his Sophomore year in January 2019, and he applied in early August.

That is what we had read, but have not heard anything yet. Did check her portal this morning and now is showing academic programs available Honors college and Hankamer which have not been there, only the "pre-medical, pre-dental programs have been on there for a few weeks.
Not sure if that means anything??

Those programs have been there since day one for my son. So maybe doesnt mean anything.

well then maybe not! lol… also some Veterans question shows up on the financial aid tab too towards bottom. Oh well, I am wondering though if it is too early for acceptances since they typically were more later October. Just don’t want to have to pay and send more applications then the ones we have already. Hoping decisions are sooner than later especially for ED.

ED should hear back before EA. Hope to hear back from Baylor soon too.

In a premiere admissions session today, they indicated that ED1 will hear starting November 1st.

So I guess that they change the way releasing acceptance this year then.

Thanks for sharing! That’s valuable info to know …so we don’t obsess about checking the Baylor portal on a daily basis. :joy:

A little more info, I just hopped on to their admission section after reading the post. In the Q and A part, they said that

“If you apply EA, you are guaranteed to hear between Nov 1 and Jan 15th….”

So it’s the same way for EA as well. Everyone need to wait till at least 11/1.

Glad we have some sense of when we could start hearing. Hoping ED will hear sooner than EA but dies not sound like it.

Here’s what is posted on the Baylor Admissions website:

BAYLOR

When will I receive a decision on my application?

Students who apply Early Decision 1 by the November 1 deadline will be notified of their admission by December 15. Students who apply Early Decision 2 by the February 1 deadline will be notified of their admission by March 1. Students who apply Early Action by the November 1 deadline will be notified of their admission by January 15. Students who apply Regular Decision by the February 1 deadline will receive a decision by April 10. While Early Decision candidates may file non-binding applications to other colleges, if they are admitted under Early Decision they must immediately withdraw all other applications and enroll at Baylor.
