Baylor University Early Decision for Fall 2022 Admission

congrats to all!
Still cannot figure out why we haven’t heard anything yet after app. was completed early September, ED, and 4.42weighted, 3.987 unweighted. Invite for distinguished scholars. Strange.
Maybe they are doing by majors?

anyone that has been accepted from
out of state?

MY bad - I meant she applied Early Decision; not EA.

DS received the email this evening. EA Engineering. Applied 10/14. Unweighted GPA 4.0, SAT 1500. Strong EC and leadership. Was hoping to see an academic scholarship of some kind but nothing was included in the email. Best wishes to everyone still waiting!

We are OOS. And we applied the school of art and science (political science). And your daughter stat is excellent. What major is she applying?

We didn’t see anything attached as well. But my son will have the I2E meeting tomorrow morning.

Neuroscience-

My daughter was accepted this evening. OOS, good, but not super high stats: 4.1/1340. BS/biology. I suspect our somewhat unusual location helped.

My son just got accepted into Baylor as well. He’s yet to hear on the BS/MD track. Applied 9/17 EA. He’s 3.98 GPA, 35 ACT, NMSF, neuroscience major. Applied through common app. We’re in-state

Did he apply common app or goBaylor application?

Is she applied test optional? Or with test score?

with scores, common app , essays, resume,

Still waiting here. Since we havent visited and we are 15 hours away, son has Baylor down on his list. But we still would like to get a decision in the next few weeks.
By curiosity any of the admitted so far, applied as undecided? Would like to see if major plays any roll. Congrats to all that received acceptances recently!

My son was admitted last night to Hankamer College of Business to study Finance! Applied EA in early August, 3.8 UW GPA, strong ECs (varsity golf and Wind Ensemble band all 4 years, Eagle Scout), volunteers in church orchestra, strong essay. So excited for him! Now we wait to see how expensive this is going to be!

Yours will most likely be accepted with those great stats! I think you should send an email to your Baylor admissions counselor to show interest and express your excitement about potentially going there, and ask when they might give an admissions response. They do look at demonstrated interest.

thank you! she applied ED so Baylor is where she wants to go, she loves it! ( she has applied to several other schools EA as back ups of course but truly sees herself at Baylor) We live OOS but are moving to texas in June.
She has attended Premier last month and last spring, did a counselor virtual session, attended Distinguished Scholarship day yesterday virtually. We visited campus in June.
Just odd application was complete early Sept. yet people who applied 5 days ago already heard.
May be good idea to reach out to counselor just to check in. Thank you.

Hi my daughter did apply undecided ED and found out Friday she was admitted. Still waiting on scholarship info though!

My Daughter applied today 2 hours before the deadline for EA
She is applying for the Honors Program - Biochemistry.
1570 SAT, Top 1% of her class of 500+ kids, AP almost all subjects 5 and 4 years of Marching Band along with quite some voluntary work.
She won’t qualify for any Financial Aid and so hoping she will be able to get some good Scholarship.
