My main goal is to go to medical school. Which college do you think will be better baylor university or colby college? Colby is a LAC ranked 23rd and Baylor is ranked 76 on the national rankings. How competetive is baylors premed program?

Usually top 30 LACs are feeders into the best medical, business, journalism and law graduate schools in the country. I would say Colby would provide a more focused and well rounded education necessary for med school.

I’d say Colby.

Someone tell me pros and cons of both universities

Baylor is a bigger school than colby

what is the average gpa at baylor and colby

I’ve never been to Colby, but I’ve been to Maine and I live about 90 miles from Baylor. There is an enormous difference between living and studying in Maine and Waco. Have you ever been to Waco or the city where Colby is? Check them out and see where you’d be happier. Piles of snow vs. seldom snow. Freezing temps vs. sweltering drought. Lots of trees, mountains, and water vs. relatively flat, fewer trees, little water. People might be a bit friendlier in Waco (southern hospitality and all that), but you’d find good friends at Colby too.

If it were me, I’d choose Maine. ;)
