<p>Hi - I've been browsing CC for quite a while but just signed up.</p>
<p>In all honesty, I really messed up my GPA because I was either on drugs or was in rehab for it. Thats all behind me now but unfortunately it has impacted my academic profile. I am certain I want to go into medicine, and I would say I'm pretty intelligent. I'm not very involved extracurricularly. I am a bad test taker.</p>
<p>Graduating High School: Plano East Senior High (high rigor)
Weighted GPA: 3.634
Class Rank: 384/1480 (thats 25.945%)
Clubs: NHS
Extracurriculars: None
Work Experience: 6+ months as a billing/surgery coordinator for an orthopedic surgeon (40+ hours a week during the summer, ~25-30 thereafter) </p>
<p>Composite ACT: 25 (pending retest scores, im expecting 26-28)

<p>What are my chances of getting into Baylor? I applied using Baylor Choice and submitted everything before the nov 1st deadline. I also did the supplementary essay, gave them contact info for references and uploaded my resume. And which colleges with a good pre-med program do you recommend for me that I actually have a chance at in texas or near texas? I am considering UTD and Texas Tech in addition to Baylor but other than that I'm stuck. I know I will for sure get rejected at UT so I'm not even trying.</p>
