Baylor vs SMU?

Baylor vs. SMU? Which college is better in regards to education, lifestyle, overall? What about for premed? How much money can you expect to get in schoarships with a SAT score of 2150 for each college? What are the main differences? How hard is it getting into each one if you are in the top 10 percent and have taken 14 AP classes with averages all above 85. Do I need subject tests for these colleges, and if so how many? I think I want to major in Biology? Are they prestigious colleges? If I said "I went to ___." which would sound better? Will one help me in getting a job over the other? Thanks

Baylor is better for premed. Expecially if you get into their honors program which is very good

With those scores and class rank you will have no trouble getting into either school, and should receive money and honors admission. I think Taylor may be better for ore-med. SMU has a respected business school. Personality of schools is very different. SMU is wealthy, Dallas suburbs and very frat and sorority focused. Baylor is quite conservative. It is a Baptist school, no co-ed dorms, etc. SMU kids party, perhaps too much and frats have in trouble. Baylor kids on the other hand, may not party enough–haha. So visit and see where you are comfortable. As far as prestige, neither is nationally prestigious, but both are fine if you plan to stay in Texas.
