<p>Can somebody explain this to me? I don't see why D can't work. Jerry is dissatisfied thus creating a false identity, so why is it A? Help.</p>
<p>If anything, Jerry is satisfied with his present circumstances. Look at lines 20 - 28. Jerry is so satisfied with the result of his lies that he wants to stay in Africa where people believe them. He may have been dissatisfied with his past, which led him to lie, but he's not dissatisfied with his current situation.</p>
<p>Time is important in a lot of SAT CR questions. Pay close attention whenever different time periods are mentioned in the passage, questions or answer choices...</p>
