I have the Official SAT Study Guide New Edition, and I needed help with 3 problems from practice test two section two? How do you figure out #4 and #20 and #18? Number four is a question about circle graph and #20 is about perpendicular lines and figuring out coordinate 't' and #18 is about a right circular cylinder.

4 First you add up 20+18+22+30+48+42, which equals 180. Then you set up a proportion; 30(Number of cars sold in April)/180=x/360(Number of degrees in a circle), cross multiply and solve.

18 The base of the cylinder is a circle with diameter d. So, the smallest rectangular base of a rectangular box that can contain the cylinder is a square that circumscribes the circular base. The height of the box must also be the same height as the cylinder, to completely circumscribe it. (d^2)(h)

20 Calculate the slope of the line using the equation y2-y1/x2-x1. So you get 1-0/2-0=1/2 then you know the perpendicular slope, which is -2, since -2 is the -reciprocal of 1/2. Then you set -2 = 1-t/2-0, and solve. You get t =5

I now need help with #20 PRACTICE TEST THREE SECTION 2, #5, 6, 10 PRACTICE TEST THREE SECTION 5 and # 15, 6 in Section 8.
