Are you asking about the city bus or is there a BB&N bus from Wellesley? My kids were driven to school they didn’t take the bus and the commute was still an issue. The Google estimate from Wellesley is 25-45 minutes. I assume when Boston/Cambridge traffic returns full force it could extend from 45 minutes.
There is a Wellesley/Weston BBN bus! Thank u.
I’d simply ask for the bus schedule! It’ll give you a good idea of how long he’s be on the bus. Others might disagree, and all the kids at bb&n are commuting, but I think anything over 30 minutes becomes exhausting for the kids.
BB&N has their bus schedule published (just google BB&N bus schedule). Just beware that they do not have a late bus - so if your kid does sports or something after school, they’ll need to find another way home. Although some of the bus rides are kind of long, at BB&N everyone is commuting so your child won’t be alone.
You could also inquire with the BB&N admin about a possible late bus starting this fall. They are building new fields that will be ready in Fall 2022, so running a late bus was mentioned as a possibility since all afternoon athletic practices will happen concurrently.
