BB Pg 540 #28

Until It/U can be replaced by a faster/U, more efficient, and more economical means of transportation, trucks will carry most/U of the freight within and through/U metropolitan areas. (E) No Error
The answer is A, can someone explain to me why?

I think it’s because ‘Trucks’ is the subject so you would need a plural pronoun. ‘It’ doesn’t correctly refer to ‘Trucks’.

Wait till Silverturtle or someone makes an appearance though because grammar isn’t my thing.

(A) should be “Until they”.

oh ic now, that makes sense haha. thanks
