How close are the scores you got from bb sample tests (those 10), compared to the score of your real SAT? i'm very curious. I took a couple sample tests so far. don't know how well that predicts my real score in Jan. Thanks for any input based on your experience.

bb was about 100-200 points more than the real, i was just really worried on the real test, and test anxiety took control of me, even though i thought it wasnt going to to hit me. I retook december sats and test anxiety didnt strike hopefully i get higher than bb

i didn’t know bb’s tests are longer than the real one. it actually makes me feel a little better. it just seems to be so long… oh well c’est la vie i guess. it’d be better if the real one is a little shorter. i hope you improved in th elatest test.

I guess I’m not the best person to answer this, but, I took the December SAT and felt it was significantly easier than the practice tests in the BB, although a lot of people are saying that the Dec test was really easy.

The first three tests in the blue book are actual tests, from 2006-07. Just like the tests being given now, they vary somewhat in difficulty. The curve that gives you a scaled score based on how many questions you got right will punish you or help you for easier or harder tests, respectively, so that it ends up being fair in the end. At least, from the scoring point of view.
