Hey Guys,
In prep for the Oct. SAT I have been doing the BB practice tests. I ran into a slight problem with this question because i feel like there are 2 answers that could be correct even though only one is. Could anyone give me some insight on what the correct answer is and why?

Recently excavated artifacts from Pakistan have inspired a reevaluation of one of the great urban cultures-the enigmatic Indus Valley civilization, one of the four great early Old World state-cultures, along with Mesopotamia, Egypt, and China's Yellow River civilization. Much less is known about the Indus civilization than these other states because linguists have yet to decipher the Harrapan script found on recovered objects. Attempting to understand these vanished people and their social structures, my colleagues and I have drawn clues from the miscellaneous objects we uncover and sites we excavate. In this effort, the Harrapan writings have not been totally useless; we have gleaned insights by examining the context of the writing's usage.

On a side note, I have been working hard over the summer to improve my score. I had 2020 in Jun and now its at around a 2250 ( 770M,715W,760CR). Since school is about to start soon, and I haven't met my target score of 2300, is it still possible to increase my score and still take a rigorous course load (5 AP's)? My writing score is lagging right now, but I am almost done with the lessons part of Meltzer's book. Any additional tips for writing?

Thanks again guys
