Even though I am in my second semester of college I realize I can graduate with 120 credits in three years total so I have been putting in some preliminary thought into graduate school and have been thinking a combination of accounting and finance could diversify my skill sets and therefore make me more marketable to employers. Not only that but I also want to learn something business related that has more math in it than accounting because although I like accounting it leaves me wanting more involved math. Does this seem accounting and finance like a good combination for degrees? Is it a path students normally take? What type of jobs could I get upon graduation outside of the big 4 firms?

That is a good question.

If you like accounting but you’re looking for higher level math, it seems natural to become an actuary.
