BC Calc Question...

<p>As much as we all love the holy sacrament of math…there are some parts of it that make me want to slam the textbook against a brick wall :stuck_out_tongue:
Soo…a few questions for BC calc, mostly just methods/clarification</p>

<li><p>How do you determine limits when evaluating a polar integral? I know the equation is (1/2) integral of Rsquared d theta (sry for bad notation)…but how do you determine the limits?</p></li>
<li><p>How do you check the endpoints when evaluating a series for conditional convergence?</p></li>

<li><p>either they would give you the limits, or if it’s case where they say "the area enclosed by [insert polar equation here], the best option for me is to either graph it and see on my calculator, or if it’s a no-calculator portion, make a table of the values and graph it by hand so you see where the loop ends. :)</p></li>
<li><p>I’m not sure what you mean by conditional convergence because I thought that was only for harmonic series that you don’t need to check endpoints for. But on power series, you just plug in your endpoint for x and see if that series is going to converge by any of the tests you know (ratio, integral, limit comparison, etc.)</p></li>

<p>For 2 I think he means the radius of convergence. You just plug in the x-value and see whether the function would converge there, or diverge there.</p>
