43%. I am not trolling. This figure comes from an email sent to my guidance counselor.

If this is true then I’d say that you, sir, are a saint!

!!!

OMG. if you’re ■■■■■■■■ i will find a way to kill you through the internet. if not, you just made me really optimistic.

Confirmed. Check out this website.

that’s BEAUTIFUL!!

This is fantastic!

You just made my night! Crossing my fingers for the best. I heard letters are mailed on Tuesday or Wednesday. MA should hear by Thursday.

This is so beautiful :')

You are welcome!

Thank you!! What a relief!! I hope we all get in!! mkb123, do you know when CA should hear?

This isn’t that surprising to me. Don’t a lot of schools have ED/EA acceptance rates that are around 10% higher than their overall acceptance rates?

44% EA acceptance rate for my school, but about 10-15 of the top students apply(top10%.) So although it seems like a big %, the competition is rough.Everyone has excellent GPA and test scores.

Umm…The 44% rate was from two years ago. Last year, the EA admit rate was 34%.

BC tries to hold EA acceptances to ~30% of total, so it won’t fill the whole class early. Thus, the EA admit rate depends on the number of ealry applicants, which were down two years ago, but up last year. This year???

I got 36% EA, 26% overall (but I don’t know which year that was from). That’s still in that 10% range I mentioned earlier.

my Thanks to the bearer of good news!

Please note that the data given by the reference cited in Post #4 are six years old!

According to the 2009-10 BC Fact Book, those numbers (22,451 applicants; overall acceptance rate of 32%; freshman enrollment of 2,309, etc.) apply to the fall of 2004.

“my Thanks to the bearer of good news!”

We aim to please. :)

I REALLY HOPE I GET IN! Ahh G’town deferred me, so now I’m freaking out.

I don’t mean to burst any bubbles. The 43% number is wrong. I bet that number is at least 4 years old. Take a look at all the data on that page. Tuition, application fee, cost, and number of students are not 2010 numbers! I have a friend who works as a tour guide, he told me that the number is more like 23%. Sorry for the bad news.

According to my schools online tracking system, the acceptance rate is 30% EA and 14% RD for my high school.
