My D has asked me to pass this along for a friend of hers so that any of you who happen to be in the city this week have the opportunity to attend.

I just wanted to let you all know that this Saturday, at the Kraine Theater in the Village (on 4th Street between 2nd and 3rd Avenues), a bunch of NYU students are putting on a huge MUSICAL THEATRE BENEFIT for BROADWAY CARES/ EQUITY FIGHTS AIDS! The shows are at 2:00, 3:30, 6:30, and 8:00 (I'm directing the shows at 3:30 and 8:00- sorry to plug but it's for a very good cause! All the money is going directly to BC/ EFA) Tickets are $6 for one show or $10 if you want to come to two!

There are songs from The Full Monty, The Life, Saturday Night, Last 5 Years, In Trousers, Gypsy, Godspell, Pajama Game, Merrily We Roll Along, Songs for a New World, Elegies: A Song Cycle, The Boy From Oz, Into the Woods, A Chorus Line as well as cabaret favorites by Tesori & Scanlan (bet you guys can guess what song that is!), John Bucchino, and Heisler & Goldrich!

We've been working hands- on with the BC/ EFA office to make this happen and are really excited... there are over 100 NYU students involved in some capacity!
