BC Honor Housing

I was accepted into the Honors Program at BC, and I’m really torn on whether to live in Honors Housing or not. I believe that living in the honors housing guarantees that I would be on Upper Campus, however I really don’t want a boring or overly quiet dorm.

Any advice or information on the Honors dorms from current students or other students accepted into the Honors Program would be greatly appreciated!

anyone have an opinion…

I’m currently living in Honors Housing (I’m a sophomore), and I love it! Last year, I lived in Medeiros, and it was anything but quiet! Of course, it was coed at that point, and now it’s single-sex by tower. The layout of the building really makes it feel more integrated and social-- but i think it really depends on the dynamic of the people you’re living with! I think honors housing is a great thing to be a part of going forward. Good luck!

I’m going to be a freshman in the fall and i’m going to do honors housing. First of all I wanted to be on Upper and this is a guarantee. Second of all, I know I’m going to want to study in my room, so i’d like it to be quiet sometimes. Third of all, everyone i’ve talked to about Honors housing has had positive experiences. Finally, I’m not much of a party person and i’ve heard the few parties in Medeiros are small…I definitely understand not wanting boring/too quiet, i’m hoping it won’t be like that either…
