BC vs LMU

hey guys. im pretty sure i am going to go to BC, but i also really liked Loyola Marymount when I went down there. I really like both campus’s, the girls are hot at both, and i can see myself going to both. Ive been told boston is better, but southern california is fun too and it has better weather. any help/advice would be greatly appreciated

We live in Southern California and are very familiar with both schools. There is NO question, BC is a much better school. The weather should play no part in your decision.

no comparison, you have to go to BC..if you were going to stay in California then you should be going to a UC school, not LMU

i’m deciding between the two as well… i’m from the east coast, so going to LMU would be a huge change. think about the trip home. it might be a long flight like it might be for me!
also, BC definitely has a pretty serious vibe. i assume that you got in if you’re asking for advice, so you’re probably already serious about your school work. just something to keep in mind. i’m pretty set on LMU between the two because BC is so serious and LMU it just a better fit for me in general. good luck!

With the exception of the weather, distance to home, and ease of classes, BC wins hands-down on every other conceivable criteria. Of course, the weather is subjective. Many thousands of California kids go east every year to experience four seasons, ice skating, fall leaves, etc., all for the first time!

LaLa: also consider U-San Diego and Santa Clara Univ (assuming you are focusing on Catholic colleges).
