I would appreciate people's comments on how they would compare the schools
in terms of academics, social scene, non-drinking fun on weekends, etc

Not an east-coast person, so I have no idea which college is PC. Boston College is BC, right?

I actually clicked because I was curious what PC stood for…

My guess is Providence College.

And I clicked because I wondered what “BC” meant vs Political Correctness!

We know teachers and students at both schools-- no close knowledge, but BC seems to come out the winner in terms of student satisfaction academically and socially. Sense of PC as a sleepy second to a booming school with lots of opportunity. (On the other hand, BC’s big athletics and big party scene, as well as its split campus and lack of housing space, could easily turn some off.) BC is much more selective too.

Others will have more direct knowledge–I’m just posting the little I know.
