BC vs. Wake Forest

Hey guys,
I was accepted at BC and Wake and was just wondering if anyone could enlighten me on anything that could help me choose either way! They both seem to be good schools academically and have awesome football and sports teams so it’s so hard to decide!

Psh, who wants to go to a school name "WAKE FOREST".

lol.

On a more serious note, BC is both nationally and internationally recognized as one of the top Universities. People will also tell you that the BC alumni network is rediculously large and immensely helpful, moreso than Wake forest. By far.

think about size, expense, and distance

Go to the US News Rankings for top universities: Wake is ranked #28 BC is ranked #34 as for business schools (Business Week Rankings ) BC is ranked #14 Wake is ranked #17

Wake has a much smaller enrollment at around 4500, small class size, more personal
BC has a larger more nationally diverse student body near one of the best cities in the world Boston

Both are top colleges with devoted alumni, good sports.
You are lucky to have such a wonderful decision to make. Choose the locale, size, demographic that suits you best. You will have an excellent education at either school.
Good Luck with your decision.

This all depends on what you're looking for in your college experience and what your prospective major is. Clearly size, the city, campus, student body are all issues, but it's most what you want to take out of your college experience. I would imagine both BC and Wake have very good job placements around the US so it's all a matter of which school you like better.

Better weather @ Wake.

I'm glad to see this thread, I'm trying to make the same decision lol...

It's so hard!

Ask yourself:

Do you like the North or the South?
Do you like warmer weather or colder weather?
Do you know what you want to study?
Do you like being near a city or out in a rural area?
Do you want a Greek life or not?

All these should help get the wheels turning.

Note*** I don't consider Winston-Salem much of a city (hence the rural statement)

I was waitlisted at BC and accepted at Wake Forest. Proximity is probably pretty important. I don't know if I'm going to go to Wake because I live in New York and it's about a ten hour drive. Personally I don't think you could go wrong with either decision! Good luck, haha.

I don't know anything about Wake other than that my friend who goes there loves it and that it has a lot of overlap with BC. If you have any specific questions about BC, feel free to ask me, but I can't tell you anything about wake other than what has been said.

umm hii im 14 and a freshman in high schooll and i wanna go to wake also…
