I’m deciding between Olin and Carroll for an undergrad business education. Put financial aid aside when helping me with information to make my decision! I am leaning towards BC because I think it would an overall better collegiate experience, but I realize that Wash U has somewhat more prestige. I eventually want to end up in law school.

The prestige argument is irrelevant. Both are equally good at getting their students prepared for grad school. Since you’re talking about the business schools, where do you first want to live and work after graduation? Wash U will have a strong career network in the Midwest, probably as far north as Chicago and as far south as Dallas. BC will have a much stronger set of contacts and connections in the Northeast, basically from Boston to Washington DC.

That would be the biggest factor influencing my decision.

fwiw: undergrad biz is not a preferred major for law school. And yes, the undergrad experience will be significantly different between these two schools. (I can’t understand applying to both.)
