Forget settling for the Rose Bowl, I hope that we can go all the way.

hehe, I'm just hyped up about how we're doing this year. I promise my next post will actually be beneficial.

what's the date for the bcs championship game?

and its in my hometown!!! wahooo

I am a texas fan, but since that it is nearly impossible for us to get into the championship game this year....

GO MICHIGAN

Obviously, I am sure most of us would rather go to the Fiesta Bowl than the Rose Bowl this year. Assuming that Michigan and OSU enter their November 18 matchup 11-0, the winner will obviously go to the Fiesta Bowl and the loser will most likely end up playing at the Rose Bowl. Sounds like a win-win situation! LOL!!!

There could be a re-match in the national championship if USC loses a game. The computers really hate the Big East teams. There's a significant difference between Michigan and Auburn, #3 and #4.

I hope that the Big East teams are shut out from the Championship. I've lived in Louisville for the last 3 years and the fans there ridiculously hype up the Cards. West Virginia's probably the only good team in the Big East. As for OSU, our record against them has been pretty bad the last few years. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

USC has struggled against crappy midlevel Pac-10 teams. I can't see them making it out of Oregon/Cal/Notre Dame/UCLA undefeated.

So we know that the winner of the Michigan/OSU game will have a definite spot in BCS championship but hwat happens if USC loses? Who fills the second spot?

Texas/Auburn.... Notre Dame??? If they beat USC you have to imagine they have a chance.

I would say the loser of the UM/OSU game. Look at the computers. UM, OSU, and USC are the clear 1, 2, 3, then there is a big gap. Even with a loss, UM or OSU could make it.

It is not unfathomable that both OSU and Michigan will meet again at the Fiesta Bowl. The following must happen in order for a Michigan OSU Fiesta Bowl:

1) OSU must be the one that loses to Michigan
2) It must be a very close game, with Michigan winning by no more than 5 or 6 points.
3) USC must lose to Notre Dame
4) West virginia must lose to either Louisville, Rutgers or Pittsburgh
5) Auburn, Florida and Texas must all find a way to lose one more game

Like I said, it is possible, but unlikely.

I'm feeling it. This is the first time I've truly believed in a Michigan team since 1997.
