Be Careful!

When you go to submit your application, be sure to look carefully at the PDF preview of the writing supplements. Mine had serious issues. Half of one of the 250 word essays was cut off. The footer was overlaid on another essay. We continue to be CA beta testers! I have a ticket in so hopefully this will be corrected quickly.

Sorry to hear that…hope all the bugs are fixed before the vast majority of the students start submitting their CA. Thank you for letting the other applicants know!

OK–I found the cure, no thanks to CA support. In my case, the offending essay was the roommate essay. Simple things like writing “Dear _,” or ending with “Regards, _” can make the format all wonky. Try messing with your essay format. Make it all one paragraph or remove bits and pieces like commas and breaks. Eventually you will get the right combo that puts it on the PDF preview in the correct manner. For me, I could not end it with my name on a single line(as you would end a letter). That would completely mess it up. Move my name to to the end of the previous sentence, and BAM, everything perfect.
