I’m pretty sure Tufts and BC belong in the reach category.

So, are you a citizen, but not a resident of any state?

BC is also a reach.

You have some schools that won’t give good financial aid (like UMich, BU, and NYU), so does that mean that your parents will pay $50k+ for any school that you go to?

If you’re not sure that you can afford Babson and/or BU, then they’re not financial safety schools.

If you like Georgetown maybe add George Washington’s Elliot School? I agree that Tufts has to be lumped with Emory and Georgetown. I didn’t really think that BC had to be…especially if you aren’t talking about the business school. You will probably increase your scores and it will make a difference! Maybe look at a liberal arts college strong in IR—Macalaster?

I think you’re in for Georgetown, NYU, U of Michigan, and your safeties. I agree that Tufts should also be a reach for you… it is a reach for most people (2nd tier).

Also, I think the the OP’s username is like OMG super cool.

also… <3 to the OP.

Most of your target schools are actually reaches - Tufts, CMU, and BC. UNC would also be a reach, assuming you are out-of-state.

You might want to add American U as a safety, which is very strong in IR, and you would be a candidate for merit aid.
