***be honest and tell me like it is***

I'm a sophomore in high school. My high school is ranked in the top 100 in the nation (specifically, top 60) and is an arts school.

I've been researching colleges and am currently leaning toward Columbia with a major in astrophysics. I want to know what the national/international community thinks of how I'm doing so far--and if I have a chance.

Freshman year:
• Unified Arts/Speech & Debate: A, A
• English 1 Honors: A, A
• TV Production/Creative Writing: A, A
• Biology 1 Honors: A, A
• AP Human Geography: A, A
• Algebra 2 Honors: A, A
• Spanish 2: A, A

Sophomore year:
• English 2 Honors
• Pre-Calculus Honors
• Spanish 3 Honors
• AP Biology
• AP World History
• my school's newsmagazine, nationally recognized and awarded
• my school's yearbook, nationally recognized and awarded

I expect to be getting all A's this year. Dual enrollment in two AP courses this summer, as well as the nest summer. Junior year I will be having 5 AP's and the two publications, same for senior year.

My GPA is 4.0 and HPA 4.7857 at the moment. Class rank is definitely in the top 5%, pretty sure I'm in the top 5 as well.

I'm in clubs and hold an officer position for one of them. I plan on creating 2 clubs next year and being members/officers for others. I constantly participate in community service. I have been and will be on my school's swim team for all 4 years. I have been swimming with a competitive swimming team for 8 years outside of school. I also plan to organize fundraisers for charity.

I probably missed some stuff, but here's some to start.

What do you think? Stories or experiences of Columbia are welcomed.

Are those just normal A’s or A pluses as well?
