Beat Coast Guard!!!!!

'Nuff said .

Yep, I hear the Admiral bestows much grace on plebes when they beat Coast Gaurd. I am all for grace bestowed on plebes.

We're planning on going to the game. Does anyone know if we'll get a chance to talk to our plebes after the game?

Cga Will Win!

:D :D :D :D

CGA better not win. if kp wins than we supposedly might get overnight liberty, which is almost unheard of for plebes

and they lift restriction i hear

mantz what'd u do to get on restriction already

:) email to the wrong person... lol

KP10 - was email to go to your dad, and not to the original sender?

I'm confused what does email to the wrong person mean? Everybody makes mistakes.

LOL my son made a very big mistake that he will learn from.

When you mean to e mail something to your parents and for their eyes only, make sure that is where it is really going to go.

Parents are a safe place to vent and decompress. But just make sure that you are not hitting the reply button instead of the foward button.

happens to the best of us

Ah, is KP10 in 2 co? My son (Royce) is in 2co and did mention this happening. I think all the plebes were taught a very valueable lesson in your son's mishap.

KP10, I'm sorry that happened. Hang in there. And beat Coast Guard!

He is in company one and yes I am forsure even my son would hope that everyone can learn a lesson from this. I am mighty proud of how he handled the whole thing. The experience will make him a much better officer when it comes to handling delicate communications.

A side lesson to learn also is that e mail can be a two edged sword that bites us in the behind from time to time if we do not utilize great discretion. Remember even when venting to a person whom you belief is trustworhty that e mails can be stored and utilized against you at a far later date should the relationship with the person you vented to change.

I once confided in someone via e mail and when the person's sentiments towards the situation changed all was twisted, distorted and utilized in ways that did not benefit me.

Our generation utilizes this form of communication much like when we converse. However when we converse in confidence the words often evaporate usually never to be utilized in an less than appropriate manner. Our written communications can become documents. Bottom line: be very careful of what you say in conversation at the keyboard, even much more careful than when you say it in oral conversation.

Enough of that. I am confident that KP10 will utilize this experience to build his character rather than to bring him down. But a win against the Coast Guard would sweeten the pot of this experience!!!!

The Liberty League honored 3 Kings Point football players for their performance in the season-opening 29-19 win against Kean last Saturday. Junior running back Davey May was named Co-Offensive Player of the Week for his indomitable rushing and catching. Virtually every time he got the ball, there was a gain on the play. May was also named USMMA Player of the Week. Sophomore kicker Geoff Troy was named Specialist of the Week for his incredible kick-offs, punts and field goals, some against fierce winds. Freshman receiver Grant Wright was named Rookie of the Week for several fantastic catches.

Combined with the incredible teamwork of the other players and the spirit displayed by the Regiment, Kings Point has some momentum going into the game with the US Coast Guard Academy.
