Kevin43, I admire your ability to set a personal goal that can be actualized through a personal study plan. When taking this test it is important to know that there is no universally "good" score; A talented student may set a reasonable goal of 2250 and miss it by 100 points, thus not getting what they deem a good score. On the other hand, a less-than-average student may set a goal of a 1500 and be extremely happy with scoring 1600.

Some may see my argument as a logical fallacy because one is given percentiles to accompany one's score which dictates the "ability" of a student over others. Yet, I feel not all students need to compete amongst their peers for spots in the most competitive colleges. Although it would be nice to go to an Ivy-league institution, state schools are still fine centers of learning. If anything, your post was a nice relief from the constant "OMFG I got a 2380 and need to retake" and "bahhhhh......only a 790 on Math iic" statements which appear constantly on CC. Perhaps I'm just rambling, but I highly respect your ambitions
