Hello. "Holler", in fact.

I'm Nicole, Pton '09. I took a year of academic leave [was originally '08 -- happily not in the middle of thesis at the moment, because I assure you, it's an intense time at a very intense school] for travel/research and I'm conveniently in a gap period for the next couple of months. Precisely the time when all you CC'ers are preparing your applications and fretting over your chances at Princeton! Which is, by the way, not only the best university in the world -- it's the most pampered and luxurious. Even though it's in New Jersey. nods

So, to publicly offer my services: feel free to contact me on all things Princeton. I check the board [sometimes often, most of the time not] but am always near an internet device. Chances, SATs, the app itself -- I've been there, and I also happen to know a lot of people who got in [go figure]. Like I said, I have a damn lot of free time, so feel free to send over your essays or chat about ideas. I know -- I'm crazy to offer this treasure-trove of "beating the system" wisdom for free, but I have a knack for it and I like helping able, compelling individuals through what is [without guidance or bizarre strokes of luck] a trying/exhausting/infuriating process. But, in most cases for the right people, fruitful :)

Oh, and if you have any questions about activities or life at Princeton -- I was [technically still am] in an a cappella group, wrote for The Daily Princetonian, am in a few activist groups, have taken a lot of all variations of classes [some with famous professors some of you have heard of], lived through the residential college sitch, picked a major, joined Terrace but almost bickered Ivy, blah blah blah. And, if you have a question [about a specific department, activity, phenomenon] I can't answer, I probably know someone who can and will put you in touch.

So. If you just have one question or want lengthy [and sometimes harsh, I'll admit -- but always honest] essay critiques or strategy brainstorming, hit me up.
