Umm just curious to know about it...

has best desserts for breakfast out of the 5 west houses.

I live in Carl Becker. I think it is literally THE best dorm on campus. I’ve lived on North, have friends all over West, been to all of the dining halls, and I’ve signed up for a second year here. It was just built a couple years ago.

It’s a really difficult house to get into bc the lottery system is rigged for underclassmen and pushes seniors out into collegetown, and everybody wants to live in the newly constructed houses instead of the goths. If you made it, congrats.

do you think sophomore transfers have a good chance of being placed there?

its random so the chance is prob less than 20%. i know rose has a lot of transfers. being placed in any of teh west dorms is very good.

For transfer students, is placement for the West Dorms on a first-come, first-serve basis? I will be transferring in as a junior and my I submitted my housing application a few weeks ago. I’m crossing my fingers for West.

I’m transferring to Cornell as a sophomore and I haven’t turned my housing application yet but I heard that most (or all?) transfer students are placed together in the West dorms…that’s what I heard…?

ha ha thanks for the info so far guys :D
