Becoming a phlebotomist: pros and cons

<p>After taking the courses, what would be one's course of actions? Would anyone be willing to hire a young individual with no experience? Would it help my case that I would be volunteering instead of seeking a salary? I live in a big city, and there are many hospitals here, but I read horror stories about people failing to get placement, and wanted to see the experience of other pre-meds in this.</p>

<p>Actually I think I’ve heard that some hospitals will train you themselves, but you have to ask around. </p>

<p>I guess it’s possible to not get a job though.</p>
