<p>First off, I have my doubts you want to be a “stock market trader.” Do you know what that means? I’ll save that for a response.</p>

<li><p>Majors are pretty diverse, a lot of finance, math, economics, engineering, etc. But there are definitely diversity in general though having a quantitative background is a plus.</p></li>
<li><p>You want to go to a “target,” AKA, Ivies, Duke, Georgetown, UVA, MIT, etc. See other threads for “target” schools.</p></li>
<li><p>You’re welcome, and you have a lot to learn, there is a lot more out there than “the stock market” :-P</p></li>
