I’ve recently become interested in the field of Actuarial Science, but I prefer smaller, more selective, schools (for reference, my dream school has been Yale for the past couple years), and many of these schools do not have specific actuarial programs. I don’t want to major in actuarial science since I’m not 100% set on it yet, and I don’t want to limit myself. Does anyone have any recommendations for schools with strong math or finance programs that may lend themselves well to a job as an actuary?

Any math related major will have an actuary track or the electives you need. Most actuaries did not major in actuarial science. Choose whatever school fits you best.
I think you would be fine as just a math major
