“I made it from all the Bed Bath & Beyond coupons I’ll never get to use.”
Cartoon by Ali Solomon
The Container Store is offering to accept the BBB coupons in their store through May
Of course, as far as I know, The Container Store is limited in locations (not any near me for at least an hour or more!)
And if you think BBB has high prices…well…the container store is higher…in my opinion.
Also just saw this - this MAY only apply to the Columbus, Ohio stores (Big Lots headquarters are there) but if you have this store, maybe keep an eye open:
“Big Lots says it will recognize Bed Bath & Beyond coupons through May 7 and give shoppers 20% off their purchase of at least $50”
Interesting… I guess I will hold on to my load a little longer.
Right - point being, some more spots may pop up that will accept them for a short duration.
(I don’t have any myself, this is just a customer service announcment!)
Woke up this morning to Going Out of Business/Store Closing emails from both Bed Bath and Tuesday Morning, up to 30% off lowest ticketed price. And I thought, thank goodness for Home Goods and Cost Plus World Market.
Some other stores are accepting the BB&B coupons for a little while. Smart marketing.
Container store is doing it too
I wish I had saved some of the BB&B coupons. I tossed them months ago because I hadn’t found anything I wanted there in years, even with the coupon.
How many would you like? I still have A LOT!
Oh no, now Christmas Tree Shops is filing for bankruptcy also (they had been part of BB&B and then were sold off)
I used to LOVE Christmas tree shop. I have to say….as of late, it has been underwhelming. Still…it was always a fun outing to go there.
The original one in MA is also a very cute building
IIRC, it’s the largest thatch roof building in the world. It was a go to spot we went to every year when we vacationed on Cape Cod.
I shop at that one too!! It’s on the way to our vacation place–right before the bridge, but now that the bridge is under construction, I take the other bridge across the canal. My H is happy NOT to stop. I agree about the choices–last time I went (April) I didn’t see anything I wanted.
