I am down to the last push of getting my Daughter up to SC. She seems to think that the beds already have bed risers on them - she's staying in Porter Hall. I think that's too good to be true and I don't want to wait til we get up there (we're from Texas) to buy them, because chances are BB&B will be sold out.

The beds in my sons dorms were pretty high up off the floor. He didn’t need them. He could fit a doublestack of under the bed containers under it. However beds are not the same in all the dorms and he wasnt in Porter.

LOL! I think we are erring on the side of “just the minimum!” DS is taking what we KNOW he needs (plus a few things “mom” insisted on). We’ll pick up a couple of things when we get up there - and then let him see how it works! If he needs something, he can go get it!

I think that’s the difference between girls and boys! I have asked my daughter to “edit” her clothes requiring shipping several times already. If she gets there and finds that her third pair of boots or fiftieth t -shirt is REALLY necessary, I told her I’d send them to her when I get back.

However, next year DS#2 is going to be just like your daughter! Fortunately, he’s most likely going someplace closeby (TX, LA, OK) - so we’ll be driving, not flying!

I gotta tell you, cw, I love your helpful attitude on all things PSU to almost everyone here. I’m grateful for your perspective and your time. Have a sparkling school year!
