Bed Sheets 80 x 36? wth?

lol, I think it's the so called "XL Twin"

Everythings super cheap at walmart (yes they're at least 300 threads) unfortunatrly they only sell 38 x 75 pads and sheets.

Is that size fine? Or should I give "bed bath and not so much beyond that" a try?

LOL bed bath and not so much beyond. that made my day.

I’ve been to bed bath beyond 4 times this summer. They have twin XL (80x36) for sure, but its only on super rough sheets at 225 thread count.

The soft 300+ only comes in twin regular.

Answer: Go to Target. They have AMAZING deals. Well, at least they did last year for sure. I got a comforter, sheets, a pillow with pillow case, 2 towels, 4 hand towels, and a laundry bag all for only $35!

i thought 80 x 36 is twin and 80 x 38 is xl twin… i looked online on ucsd housing and it said that bed sizes were 80 x 36 or 80 x 38… are we suppose to gamble and pick a random size and hope it fits?..

im gonna be dorming in meteor hall in revelle, does anyone know the accurate bed size?

Edit: i went to bed bath and beyond to buy my stuff, they have pretty good bed covers and stuff, but i went online on Amazon… they have much better deals. a $50 pillow at bed bath and beyond is about $36 dollars for TWO pillows of the same brand. soo yea. try amazon.com they even have free shipping for college students right now. and that deal extends to one year if u sign up for it.

^Or for $35 at Target, you can get a comforter, sheets, a pillow with pillow case, 2 towels, 4 hand towels, and a laundry bag. Just saying.

Jc Penny has some really good ones if they have a sale going on. Last year I got a 500 thread count one for about 45 or 50.

500 threads are sexy but not for me lol. I’ll make a trip to target right now.

My main question was about the size though. will 38 x 75 fit a 36 x 80 bed?

he’s right, 39 * 80 XL twins at target.

I looked for that famous $35 “bed in a bag” but they still had a pretty limited selection for XL twin, at least at the Target where I live … maybe they have it online

Target all the way. Just pick something that says Twin XL, I have gotten two sets at Target and both are [scratchy but] fine size-wize. And cheap because now all the semester kids are in school and the “extra” college stuff is on super clearance!

@pinkberry

There were tons where I live. But then again, not many people leave home for college where I live.

^ahh lucky you! our bedding section is dismal, but there’s rack after rack of towels for some reason haha

@boboman911 I googled it and the general answer seems to be no, unless your sheets are made out of some sort of stretch material ):
