bed size? do students need to bring mattress pad also?

Can anyone proivde the Williams dorm bed size? ( what kind of bed sheet should we buy) also is the matress pad there already or should we bring the pad ourself?

thanks

The bedding is twin XL; the mattresses look a bit thin so we’re bringing a mattress topper and mattress pad. The beds are adjustable so they can be raised up a bit to store items underneath.

From the website: [Williams College :: Parent’s Pages](http://www.williams.edu/home/parents/faq/)

Dorm rooms are equipped with extra-long twin beds and mattresses, desks, garbage and recycling bins, built-in lights, and window shades. Rooms are also equipped with phone and data jacks. All dorms have televisions in their common areas; some buildings are also equipped with television cable hookups in individual rooms. Students must supply sheets (extra-long), pillows, blankets, and towels, and may also bring lamps, rugs, or curtains if they so desire.

Thanks very much for the information, we will buy everything there as we are flying all the way from the west side of the country, hope to meet many parents there!

thanks again

There are online ordering sites, that might be helpful to look at. A friend used this service:

[Offering XL twin sheets, college dorm bedding, dorm linens, storage, bath essentials](<a href=“Namecheap Education Program: Free Domains for Students”>Namecheap Education Program: Free Domains for Students)

I’m not sure of the timing, but maybe it will help. Exciting times, eh? Maybe we’ll see you there. Good luck!

Thanks again, sorry I just got back to the forum. I did not get to go to the parents meeting thing becuase we were doing something else at the time…But I did go to the mutilculture lunch and it was very nice to meet and talk with some parents there.
