Bedbugs in doorms

Did you have any bedbugs in your doorm?

I didn’t. There were no bugs at all in our whole suite except for the occasional fruit fly.

Hahahaha. I totally asked this question before I moved in freshman year too, was definitely nervous - but I never heard of anyone getting bedbugs at UCSD!

Bugs were rare in my suite, I didn’t have problems with any.

unless youre drunk and rip the screen off the windows and never find it again

How about fleas?

Now I am a summer student, and I have some problems.
Something bites me at night.
I don’t know, what it is? (bedbugs or fleas)
I got 25 bites first night, but my roomate got 41 bites.
We have a screen window.

i’m the same, in the past two days i had about 14 bites. we have a screen in the room. i live in the sixth apartments.

I’m not a student at UCSD. But from what I know about bedbugs, they don’t really come in from the outdoors, they’re normally brought in and reproduce indoors (your bed). And you don’t really see them, unless you “get lucky” and just happen to see one crawling across your bed. They’re attracted to heat and carbon dioxide, which is why they come out when you’re still and sleeping. I’d recommend looking under the mattress and around the bed to check. Gl!
