Been rejected, waitlisted, and no acceptances?

<p>I am in the same boat.</p>

<p>Rejected: Notre Dame (1st choice), Hopkins
Waitlisted: Wash U, BC
Accepted: My 2 safeties
Waiting On: Vandy, HYP</p>

<p>33 ACT, ballerina (20+ hours/week), published research out of Yale Med School, want to do premed with a minor in Classics, 5 AP classes (max at school is 6)
I honestly am so confused...but I am assuming rejection from the remaining 4. I know I shouldn't have applied to so many top tier schools, but this is my worst nightmare coming true.</p>

<p>With everyone applying to more schools, this looks like the year of the waitlist.</p>

<p>Schools also seem to be trying to pick students who will actually attend (Tufts Syndrome)
and sticking it to many qualified students who need financial aid.</p>

<p>yeah i thought the same thing about this being the year of the waitlist. So many kisd at my school applied to 10+ schools (me included, 13) so a ton of people will be turning down a lot of acceptances</p>
