before clicking that "submit" button ...

i'm planning on submitting my Amherst ED (due 11/15) app online today, and i'm unusually nervous about it. i've already submitted apps to two other colleges and i found some minor mistakes so i guess I'm a bit nervous...

i have had my essays read several times/worked on them for over 3 months so i don't think i can tweak it at this point in time.

so before i submit it.. i should check for typos on the app, pay the app fee, make sure i upload the correct essays/additional info, ... is there anything else?

also, post-submission, when should i call to see if they received my transcript/recs/SAT scores?

thanks!

Can you get another pair of eyes on it?

And yes, I'd follow up on your scores etc.

Of course you're nervous.

Nothing is perfect. If you're applying to Amherst, you must be a pretty smart person. Have you done the best you can? Has your best served you well in the past?

Then take a deep breath and click the "submit" button.

They won't reject you because of a minor typo on page six. Remember they're looking at the whole you -- not your typos. Breathe. Relax and click submit.

As i've done in the past two applications, i will ask my parents to look it over as well. i'm not really AHH IM GOING TO GET REJECTED nervous but more of -wow i care about this application, and i'm excited to submit it-type of nervous. thank you for the encouragements/advice
