I was wondering if it was advisable to send a personal note to a college telling them how passonate you are about the school and reminding them that you worked hard and you did everything in your power to do well the past 4 years, while also telling them that your test scores are low, but everythign else is high. Do you think it is advisable to send a letter to them regarding your passion for the school?

No. You don't want to beg. That would just be seen as annoying. Admissions isn't designed to punish you; if you wouldn't fit at that college because you can't do the coursework, they reject you. (Unless we're talking about the Ivies here--that's a different story.) If you're passionate about the school, they should know because you should have demonstrated interest. You don't need to tell them again. Same thing with GPA, ECs, etc. It should all be in your application. Don't tell them again. Just be patient.

If you get waitlisted, maybe then you should consider the letter, plus new SAT/ACT scores. But be patient till decisions come out.

But, it's too late to take the SAT for this school....and i only took the SATs once......I dont wanna get rejected....lol

Completely Random: I play the oboe too! Heck yes!

Less Random: Maybe you should put that in the "additional information box" in some form. Though, maybe they'd see that you only took the SAT once...I would actually suggest trying to convey your passion in your essays. This all, of course, only applies if you haven't sent in your application.

lol i have already submitted my application lol.....crap im so screwed lol.

IMO its a good thing to take the SAT only once as long as you do well. Im sure colleges prefer it to people who need to take it 2 or 3 times to do well(over 1300/2000).

what happened to your 1360/1600?

Please.........

Lexicon are you talking to me? I got a 1360/2010.
