Being a Legacy

How much weight does being a legacy carry at Pitt? -- Discounting my other stats, which are just over 2000 SAT; 3.9/4.0 GPA (same grades, but upward trend due to weighted classes); will have 5 APs and 2 Honors by graduation...in case you wanted to factor this in too? --

My father (undergrad, double E degree), aunt (BA, MBA), sister (MA, PhD) (and her husband (MA, PhD), but I don't think that counts lol) all attended. I was told some schools take all alumni that are immediate family into consideration, and others only take parents.

Anyone? :) thanks

Your grades should be good enough to get into Pitt. Legacy doesn’t mean anything at Pitt until the Alumni need to raise money.
