So far I've gotten into all 3/5 UCs I've applied for. I'm obviously waiting for Berkeley and UCLA (first choice)..
the waiting has made me mad, and I remember reading somewhere that if you're a CA resident you'll get into at least one of the UCs you apply to (even if it is riverside)..
so this means they must talk to each other.. is this true?
orr... correct me.

I'm just worried it will be bad news from here on in

/paranoid
UCSD, UCSB, UCI = in. UCLA TAP certified..

I feel for you, I got into UCSD and UCI ---- UCLA is my dream school and UCB is my parents' (ugh) and I'm paranoid.

I don't think the UC's necessarily calculate an applicant by how many schools they're "allowed" to be or "should be" accepted to. For example, when I was in HS, I applied to all UC's except UCR and UCM, and I didn't get accepted to any of them. I was shocked because I trusted that I would get into AT LEAST one - since UC's specifically state that. But nope... I wasn't competitive enough. (3.3 GPA)

I think you are very qualified, since you got into UCSD, UCSB and UCI.

Not true. Just because you're a CA resident, does not qualify for any UCs, even Riverside or Merced.

It IS true however that UCs talk to other campus. But I mean like UCSB, UCSC (most common) telling campuses like UCR or UCM to try and recruit you.

Hang in there! Waiting is horrible, I know. I'm waiting on Cal. I gave up going to UCLA. It just wasn't for me.
