So I have had several career dreams in my life, and some of the most interesting jobs to me are doctor, chem. engineer, and college admission officer.

I know, the last one is so random, but I have seriously been interested in this job.

Does being an admission officer require degree in specific major?

One of the best ways to get started in admissions is start at the college you go to - be a tour guide and work from there.

While I’m no expert, I know admissions officers that majored in anything from engineering to philosophy.
