Being an Immigrant Student: Advantage or Disadvantage

Hello Dear College Confidential Community !

I am a current high school junior and I want to specialize in Political Science/ International Affairs because my American Dream is to become the U.S ambassador to the United Nations when I grow up! Therefore, Ivy Leagues are my top choices since they are good at social sciences more and offer more financial aid.

-Born and raised in Turkey (the country one not the animal)
-Moved to CA at the end of freshmen year
-Knew English in a tourist level, so I had to go to language courses during summer
-Took Bio, Chem, Physics, and Health Science all in 9th grade because of a scholarship I won
-I have also took 4 AP classes so far, along with other advanced science courses in America
-GPA: 3.86 (unweighted) (American one)
-Took SAT last month, got 1700 and didn't really study because of school work (but will retake, aim for 2020)
-Cross Country Varsity Team, Founder of the Red Cross Club, vice-president of the DREAM Club, co-founder of the "Be.Aware.of.Poverty" social network campaign, Gay and Straight Alliance (GSA) Network Youth Council, 152 hours in 6 months at Chabot Space and Science Center as volunteer, Social Justice Club, part of Interact Club Area 2, School Writing Center volunteer
-About to establish the "Free the Children" club curriculum at school
-Income: $12.000 because my dad's in Turkey and refuses talking to me >>> no financial support from him
-My mother is a restaurant server + we live in a 6 people household
-Half of income of my uncle goes into my grandmother's medications for cancer and diabetics
-Essay: will be totally about my passion for Social Justice and my American Dream of getting into the United Nations PLUS my "Internationalism" philosophy = how much I changed/grew/ improved myself by immigrating to the land of opportunity and equality ( trust me I have a lot to say about this part)
-Recommendations: one from APUSH teacher and one from APES or APENG teacher >>> in any situation, they will all write really inspirational things about me because i have already recs from them for summer programs, I also have personal friendship with them outside of school
-Summer programs: Stanford EXPLORE program as a lecture on biomedical research (10th) along with volunteering at the local library for ESL students + 11th grade: applied for Stanford SIMR internship, Quest Bridge Harvard Pre-college program, and UCB math& sciences pre-college program ( you can tell i love science but I pursue a career in social sciences)

SOOO, chances for Harvard? because two of my friends from last year, and one of them was from Cameroon (moved to the U.S in middle school) and another one was an undocumented Mexican student got into Harvard.

Do you guys think my "immigrant" status is an advantage or disadvantage?

THANK YOU!
