@iwantsuccess .Of course, it applies to Native Americans as well, but you need tribal documents ready if you check the Native American box. Unless you are African-American and/or Hispanic (or Native American, which is highly doubtful), checking these boxes (even as an honest mistake) isn’t the greatest idea because top colleges have many people trying to game affirmative action each year.
On the bright side, even though you are legally not a URM, there aren’t a lot of North African Arab immigrants applying to schools like Harvard, so you might bring some ethnic diversity- which can give you a leg up if you’re incredibly borderline. Good luck!
