<p>I’m Asian and I am applying to Berkeley and Santa Barbara from out of state. I was wondering if anybody knows how important race is to those two campuses.</p>
<p>It isn’t…at least not officially. The UC’s aren’t allowed to consider race in the admissions process.</p>
