<p>This thread will be for asking and answering questions about being deferred from the Binghamton 2012 early action admission pool to the regular decision pool. </p>
<p>First question: has your guidance counselor advised you to do anything to better your chances for regular decision admission? My guidance counselor said to submit another letter of recommendation.</p>
<p>:/ do you think so? the deferred letter said they’re not accepting anything else. are they gonna be annoyed if we send them more stuff?</p>
<p>Yeah, I was wondering that too, so that’s why I checked with my guidance counselor. She’s great and I trust her, so if she says it’s okay to send something, I figure it is. She did say to call first to find out where the recommendation should be sent , so i guess if they don’t want me to send something they will tell me then. Also, I think they said we dont need to send anything, which is not quite the same as saying don’t send anything.</p>
<p>Yeah, they said ‘no additional materials are required.’ doesn’t mean you can’t send them something. I’m sending in my second quarter grades and a letter about an internship I’m doing that I didn’t mention in the application.</p>
<p>Did everyone who didn’t get accepted get defered? Or did some people get rejected?</p>
<p>I really don’t know the answer to that question. I have heard rumors of people being rejected but no one has told me that directly, and no one has posted as such (for understandable reasons) here on CC.</p>
