<p>ok well in my apartment complex, the next door neighbor is this weird old black man (not being racist, just giving a description) and he has been creeping me out in the past and today</p>
<p>i walk home from school, and twice, when i was walking home, it's like he was waiting on the steps for me. to be nice, i just said hi and went upstairs. he followed me and asked me a bunch of questions...what's your name? where are you from? how old are you? you're really beautiful. and he asked me if i had a myspace. i mean who the hells asks if you have a myspace??? and whenever i turn to leave, he starts talking again. </p>
<p>and then today, some really scared the **** out of me.
i got home from school as usual, my mom was home during lunch break. my mom left. that guy saw her leave and knew she was gone because her car wasn't there. and obviously he knows that it's just me and my mom. then, he knocks on my door!! he knew that i was home alone. i almost crapped my pants. i thought about calling the police. I just looked through the peekhole(didn't open the door) saw him go back inside his apartment, then he went out again and knocked on my door again. he's gone now</p>
<p>what do i do?? call the police? i don't even think the guy lives there. it's his friend's place</p>
<p>^ you agree that the stuff he did was “abnormal” right??? he knows that i am in high school. but what do i say when i call the police? i’m scared that he might try to attack me if he finds out that i ratted on him. it’s not like they would lock him up in jail.
and if he tries to attack me, then i’m dead right there. he’s huge and i’m little.</p>

thats true…um…well…just call the police and tell them ur like scared he’ll abuse u or sumthing if u tell on him…so they wont like go confront him first and mabye be more subtle …

Are you using the term “sex offender” as a slang expression, or is he on a police list, like Megan’s Law in California? If he is on probation, actions like you are reporting can be probation violations.</p>
<p>Call the cops. Seriously. There is no need to let this escalate into harming you. </p>
<p>Is he “special”? He doesn’t sound like a typical sex offender, instead he sounds more like a man who is a little slow or has some mental problems.</p>
<p>^^^ That was my same question, siliconvalleymom. Is this guy, who you said is possibly not a legit neighbor but rather a guest of a neighbor, truly on a sex offender list? Do yo know that for a fact? Was soemthing distributed to the neighbors? Do you know his name? Did you look him up on the registry? What I would do is first tell your mother everything you have shared here-- and then the 2 of youshould go talk to the apartment manager ASAP. If this guy isnt supposed to be there, the management may be able to address it. Does yoru apt complex have any on site security staff? If so, you need to talk to them too. I’d suggest tehse steps before you call the police, because this guy realyl hasnt done anything illegal for them to intervene at this point.

<p>Contact the police immediately. Things could escalate if you wait too long. Lock the doors and keep all the shades down. That is so creepy I feel so bad for you. I was in a kind of similar situation but a creepy guy hit on me at a public library in front of lots of people not in my own home! Seriously, I’m very concerned because I was so scared the time at the library I can’t imagine what’s possibly going through your mind right now.</p>

i am mentally traumatized right now.
i mean, he is an old guy and i am only 16 so obviously he is not just “being friendly”
it;s just unbelievable that he has the courage to try to “prey” on me
it’s not like i DON’T know his intentions

next time he tries to talk to me, i am gonna call the police, and me and my parents rehearsed our story

he doesn’t even live there right? the person who lives there is this old, unattractive, chubby woman in her 60s, so it’s obvious that he is having sexual relations with her
the woman can’t drive and she previously told my mom that that black guy was her friend and drove her around</p>
<p>but i have not seen that woman in a long time. makes me wonder if he murdered her or something. it’s like she was dependent on him cuz she couldn’t do anywhere without a car</p>
<p>and it’s times like these where i hate the system. i mean, even if the police do anything, they can’t lock him up in jail and execute him. so what will happen is that he will target someone else. this is why i support capital punishment and draconian rules. if he was in the middle east, did you know that a stranger guy who even approaches an underaged girl will be automatically stoned to death??</p>
